It’s Friday again, which means time for another Weekend Words post.
I’m happy to say I finished The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty last weekend, like I wanted. You’ll see a recent read post in the coming days about it.
I also have made some progress on H.G. Bissinger’s Friday Night Lights. Not as much progress as I would have hoped by this point, but progress nonetheless.
This weekend, my main goal is to finish FNL. I have a hard deadline of 7 p.m. Thursday to finish it by, as that is when the book club I’m reading it for meets. And since I’m leading the discussion….
I’m also hoping to start a new book. I have several in mind, but I don’t think I’m ready to commit to one just yet.
I also just got the first season of The Wire from my local library. I’ve heard this show is amazing and I would really enjoy it, but I haven’t ever seen it.
